For the upcoming October 2020 Online Conference, the Academy is pleased to release an extract from its Archives. This is a consideration by David Bohm about how we know anything. It was originally recorded in 1985 in La Rippe, near Geneva, Switzerland in 1985 at a Weekend of Dialogue convened by Peter Garrett. It is an interesting historical record of the thinking that led to the three of them writing 'Dialogue - A Proposal'. The theoretical roots of the Professional Dialogue now undertaken by the Academy are clearly evident, although the practice has developed substantially since that time.
