Arranged originally around Bohm himself, the January 1994 Schumacher College residential brought together 29 participants for ten consecutive days of continuous dialogue. When Bohm died fourteen months before the event, Garrett was invited to assume facilitation and drew on Don and Anna Factor, both central figures in the early Bohm dialogue community, as co-facilitators. The session represents an early test of whether the practice could be carried forward and sustained by the emerging generation of practitioners Bohm had influenced. Garrett provides a short account of the event on pages 95 and 96 of his book A New Kind of Dialogue, situating it within the broader story of how the practice found its footing after its founder's death.
