Recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, this generative dialogue session brought Academy members together to reflect on their experiences facilitating dialogue in virtual environments. The 49-minute recording captures practitioners sharing insights about what works and what challenges arise when dialogue moves online. Participants explored fundamental questions about presence, connection, and group dynamics in digital spaces. The session examined whether the essential qualities of dialogue; suspension of judgment, deep listening, collective thinking; can translate effectively to video platforms, or whether something fundamental changes in the transition from physical to virtual settings. Members shared practical observations from their own ongoing practice during this period of forced adaptation. This recording offers valuable learning for practitioners navigating the continued integration of online and in-person dialogue work, capturing real-time reflection during a transformative period for the field.
