Generative Dialogue on Homelessness - 3rd March '21
What happens when people with lived experience of homelessness sit in dialogue with the organisations meant to serve them? This session brings together voices rarely heard in the same room to explore how generative dialogue can open new possibilities in one of society's most entrenched challenges.
Recorded on 3rd March 2021, this session focuses on homelessness as a site for generative dialogue, bringing together perspectives from across the community and systems that intersect with it. Rather than treating homelessness as a policy problem to be solved through expert analysis alone, the conversation draws on the quality of listening and inquiry that dialogue makes possible. Participants are invited to notice where assumptions harden into fixed positions and where genuine curiosity might create movement. The session reflects the Academy's commitment to applying dialogue in complex social contexts where fragmentation between institutions, communities, and those with direct lived experience is itself part of what needs addressing.
