A Participative Webinar with Lee Nichol

Lee Nichol

"In a dialogue, everybody wins." Lee Nichol edited Bohm's seminal book 'On Dialogue' and has been part of the David Bohm Dialogues group for decades. This webinar brings his deep understanding of Bohm's original intentions to contemporary practitioners.

Lee Nichol is a freelance editor and writer who has been part of the David Bohm Dialogues group for decades. He edited Bohm's influential book 'On Dialogue', which articulated dialogue as a means for humanity to achieve meaning and harmony through sharing assumptions and understanding. Nichol's close engagement with Bohm's writings gives him particular insight into distinctions that practitioners sometimes blur: between dialogue and discussion, between suspension and suppression, between the absence of agenda and aimless conversation. In this participative webinar, cohosts Linda Ellinor and Nancy Dixon interview Nichol about his background and understanding of Bohm's work. The session offers practitioners direct access to someone who has helped shape how Bohm's ideas have been transmitted to the wider world. For those seeking to understand what Bohm actually meant rather than what others have made of his ideas, Nichol provides essential perspective from close to the source.
