The PSAB is a delegated sub-committee of the Board of Trustees, on whose behalf it acts. It has a minimum of four Members, of whom at least half are Trustees. The current Members are Jane Ball, Harold Clarke and Peter Garrett with co-opted Members Glenna Gerard, Tzofnat Peleg-Baker and Jim Tebbe.

The PSAB takes responsibility for the Professional Standards of Members by defining, upholding, and advancing the standards of practice, ethics, and professional development within the field of Professional Dialogue™.

In terms of Accreditation, the Board ensures that Accredited Professional Dialogue Practitioners, and those engaged in training, Accredited Dialogic Organisations, and Academy members, maintain the highest levels of competence, integrity, and accountability.

 

The PSAB provides oversight of:

• The Academy’s Professional Standards

• The Academy’s Education Curriculum and Accredited Training Programmes

• The Academy’s Consultations to determine and review Professional Standards and Accreditation Criteria

• Processes for Accreditations, including awarding and maintaining professional designations for practitioners and organizations.

• Relationships with Accredited Practitioners, Accredited Organizations, and recipients of Academy scholarships, fostering engagement and mutual support.

• Disputes or grievances managing them in accordance with the Academy’s approved Grievances Policy.

• The Accreditation Appeals process, ensuring fair and transparent procedures and overseeing the conduct of appeals in line with policy.
