What makes a relationship genuinely dialogic, rather than merely conversational? This March 2022 Reflection of the Month turns to the nature of dialogic relations as a monthly practice of collective inquiry within the AofPD community.
The Reflection of the Month series offers a regular space for the Academy's community to pause, attend to a theme, and think together. This session, recorded on 29th March 2022, centres on dialogic relations as a topic; examining what it means to relate to another person, or to a group, in a way that genuinely opens rather than forecloses thought. The theme connects directly to questions of container: how the quality of relation between participants shapes what can and cannot be said, felt, or discovered. As a monthly practice, the series embodies the Academy's commitment to dialogue as a living discipline rather than a body of knowledge to be delivered.
