Nobel Peace Center

Ignitor Fellowship Programme

The Nobel Peace Committee has initiated a fellowship programme that places dialogue at the centre of peace building, drawing Masters students from ten universities across the world. The Academy is exploring a formal partnership with the Ignitor Fellowship, and is inviting members to get involved.

The Ignitor Fellowship, initiated by the Nobel Peace Committee, brings together Masters degree students from ten member universities in a structured developmental programme underwritten by Nobel Laureates, with dialogue positioned as a core component of peace building work. The proposed partnership between the Academy and the Ignitor Fellowship represents an opportunity to extend AofPD's reach into higher education and international development contexts. Members interested in learning more or becoming directly involved were invited to contact Bobby Frazier ahead of a briefing session on Wednesday 10th January (3:30 to 4:30pm UK time). Supporting slides, originally shown at the AGM, are available to download alongside this announcement.
