Generative Dialogue on Peacebuilding - 09th June 2022

How does dialogue move from conversation to peacebuilding? This June 2022 session brings together practitioners working at the intersection of generative dialogue and conflict transformation across community and international settings.

Recorded on 9th June 2022, this AofPD session focuses on the application of generative dialogue in peacebuilding contexts, spanning community-level work and international conflict settings. Participants explore how the conditions, practices, and quality of dialogue differ when the stakes involve sustained violence, fractured trust, or deeply rooted systemic injustice. The session draws on practitioner experience to examine what it takes to hold generative conversations across divides that have historically resisted resolution. Cohosts Nancy Dixon and Linda Ellinor facilitate the exchange before participants reflect in small groups on how these insights connect to their own practice.
