Quarterly Meeting

There is so much going on in the Academy that we can only cover those activities that are of most interest (apart from the graduations, that are a fixed item). Please consider all the initiatives outlined below before we meet and choose which ones you would like to explore during our time together. It is your choice, and we can work in one group or use break-out rooms as you like…

CONFERENCES

• ANNOUNCING: THE WORLD NEEDS DIALOGUE! 7: Your Team Needs Dialogue!(28 Oct to 1 Nov’24, online). Speakers, themes, activities and format now under active consideration. Sales commissions offered to APDPs for new registrants.
• THE WORLD NEEDS DIALOGUE! 6: Your Organization Needs Dialogue!Dialogue Publications manuscripts moving into final edit before typesetting.
• GOING DEEPER INTO PRACTICE: Next session on Wednesday 22 MayWhat is Dialogic Decision-Making? and how do you introduce it into an organization?

EDUCATIONAL COURSES

• ANNOUNCING: DIALOGIC TEAMWORKOur new online self-managed team development programme for systemic use, with optional APDP team coaching and facilitation support, being prepared for field testing in several sites.
• ANNOUNCING: DIALOGIC DECISION-MAKINGFirst delivery of our new certificated 8 hr course began on 8th April.  This is the follow-on for the Dialogic Engagement course that is proving so effective.

ACCREDITED PROGRAMMES

• ANNOUNCING: DIALOGIC INTERVENTION PROGRAMME – In person, in UK(16 to 20 Sept’24). New accreditation programme! Possible with the two-year consultation for criteria now completed by Bill Isaacs, Jim Tebbe, Lars Almqvist, Jane Ball and Peter Garrett.
• A DIFFERENT WAY OF WORKING PROGRAMME 2024 – International & onlineTwo APDP Guests welcomed for a few hours each set to meet the 15 new up and coming APDPs. Please volunteer – some places available on April 24 (Mary), May 15, June 5, June 26.
• A DIFFERENT WAY OF WORKING PROGRAMME 2024 – Farsi & Face-to-FaceA further 11 new up and coming APDPs. Parvin has great photos of the participants.
• A DIFFERENT WAY OF WORKING PROGRAMME 2023 - AccreditationsFurther graduations of your colleagues, including Laura Little, Mary Morand, John McKay and Mehdi Shariatyrad.

OTHER

• NEW ACADEMY WEBSITEAPDP Learning Centre will move here in June.  A surprising new image, format and extensive functionality. We have an amazing selection of print, podcast, and video!
• ANNOUNCING: CONSULTATION ON PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS – starts later this monthPSAB with Glenna Gerard, Tzofnat Peleg-Baker, Jim Tebbe, Harold Clarke, Jane and Peter.
